01.

WE CREATEARCHITECTUREUNDER THE METHODOF BAUBIO-
LOGIE.

BAUBIOLOGIE, which stands for “Bau” (building) +”Bio” (biology) + “Logie” (spirit),
is a building method that human health and natural environment are taken into consideration at a maximum.
The method was born in Switzerland over 150 years ago.
In Baubiologie, architectures are designed in full consideration of a site, the state of abuilding, its surroundings,
and even the environment of the whole town, by not using only the architecture but also broad knowledge in relation of biology.
Our idea is that the environment creates people and people create the environment.

02.

WE USE
BROAD KNOWLEDGE
BASED ON 25 PRINCIPLES.

Building houses based on the 25 principles of Baubiologie
is significantly important for us to create a truly healthy housing environment.
In real life, however, the criteria of all principles cannot always be met.
Therefore, our aim is to optimize each criterion
within an individual’s framework of feasibility.

03.

JAPANESE BAUBIOLOGIE
WAS INTRODUCED
FROM SWITZERLAND.

Baubiologie was introduced in Japan from Switzerland
as a design method suited in 21st century
named “Kan Baubiologie”, meaning “circulation”.
Since then, the method has been developed
to match Japanese climates
and life styles for more than a decade.

04.

JAPANESE BAUBIOLOGIE
HAS BEEN DEVELOPED
TO SUIT ITS OWN CLIMATE.

Japan has four seasons and it can be quite humid in summer.
From these features, we need to promote the Baubiologie that fits such Japanese particular climate.
Baubiologie’s concept is widely applied such as to create a microclimate
with the use of rainwater and planting methods, and to choose and place the right building materials
at the right places to live comfortably during the humid summer.
To realize such application, broad knowledge, more so than architecture, is required.

05.

OUR GOAL IS
TO REBUILD WH-
OLE TOWNS
UN-
DER BAUBIOLOGIE CRITERIA.

We believe that the concept of Baubiologie can be utilized
for not only individual residential housing but also for kindergartens,
nursing homes, and public facilities.
It is our goal to rebuild whole towns under Baubiologie criteria,
which are kind to human health and global environment.

06.

THE CONCEPT
OF BAUBIOLOGIE
CAN BE UTILIZED
FOR PUBLIC FACILITIES.

Rebuilding of towns
under the method of Baubiologie
We believe the philosophy of Baubiologie
can be utilized not only for residential houses
but also for kindergartens, nursing homes,
and public facilities.

07.

WE PURSUE
THE ARCHITECTURE
THAT HAS A LOW IMPACT
ON ENVIRONMENT.

We do use artificial building materials such as plywood and cloth,
but scrutinize whether the plywood is a veneer or a stack of solid boards, for example.
Among these materials, we consider the whole processes from the production to the disposal
and choose what materials have the least burden on human health and global environment at all times.
